Wong Tai Sin District is one of Hong Kong’s 18 administrative districts. Located in northeastern Kowloon, it covers an area of approximately 9.26 square kilometers and is the only administrative district in Hong Kong without a coastline. The district includes areas such as Chuk Yuen, Wong Tai Sin, Ngau Chi Wan, Choi Hung, Diamond Hill, and Tsz Wan Shan, and borders Kowloon City District to the southwest, Kwun Tong District to the southeast, Sha Tin District to the north, and Sai Kung District to the east. According to the 2021 population census, Wong Tai Sin District has a population of approximately 406,000, making it the third most densely populated district in Hong Kong, following Kwun Tong District and Sham Shui Po District. The district offers convenient transportation, with MTR stations at Wong Tai Sin, Diamond Hill, and Lok Fu connecting major areas within the district. Additionally, numerous bus routes serve residents and visitors. The district’s San Po Kong area is adjacent to the Kai Tak Development Area, further enhancing the transportation network. In recent years, the completion of projects such as the Kai Tak Sports Park, Kai Tak Retail Hub, and AIRSIDE has strengthened regional connectivity.
