•In August 2026, the registrations of industrial, commercial, and retail properties was 409, a m-o-m decrease of 16.4%, while the registration value reached HKD 3.68 billion, representing a m-o-m decrease of 30.8%.

•For the first 8 months of this year, a total of 3,493 registrations were recorded, a y-o-y increase of approximately 14.4%, while the registration value reached HKD 35.31 billion, representing a y-o-y decrease of 5.9%.

M-o-M Changes in Rents and Prices (August 2026)

•In August 2026, price of industrial buildings decreased by around 0.4% m-o-m while the rent increased by around 0.2% m-o-m.

•In August 2026, price of Grade A offices decreased by around 0.8% m-o-m while the rent increased by around 0.9% m-o-m.

•In August 2026, price of Grade B offices remained unchanged at around 0.0% m-o-m while the rent decreased by around 0.9% m-o-m.

YTD Changes in Rents and Prices (January to August 2026)

•From January to August 2026, price of industrial buildings decreased by around 4.8% while the rent decreased by around 1.6%.

•From January to August 2026, price of Grade A offices decreased by around 5.2% while the rent increased by around 2.5%.

•From January to August 2026, price of Grade B offices decreased by around 1.2% while the rent decreased by around 5.3%.
